To emphasise the door opening and bring unity to the entrance facade, the door surround, sill and top crown pieces are combined. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly to the facade with dowel-supported mounting adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted with exterior paint. Being lighter than its stone surround equivalent, it adds no load around the door and installation is completed quickly.
