Decorative Ceiling Beams

Decorative ceiling beams are hollow profiled polyurethane elements arranged at intervals to give the ceiling the look of wooden or stone beams. Placed parallel along the ceiling, they are used to give the space a rustic, country, or classic character. They are applied in regular rows on living room, restaurant, and villa ceilings. Being hollow, they are far lighter than real wood; they are slipped onto a load-bearing substructure fixed to the ceiling and mounted with adhesive or screws. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or blister, and the wood grain can be emphasised by painting. As they are mould-cast, all beams share the same texture and profile, so the arrangement is uniform. Polure produces decorative ceiling beams in a range of widths, lengths, and textures.
