Decorative Ceiling Timber Log

A decorative ceiling timber log is a wood-look polyurethane element used to give the ceiling a natural tree-log texture. In rustic ceiling designs it is applied as an imitation beam or tie, alone or in rows. It is preferred to create a wood atmosphere on cafe, restaurant, villa, and mountain-house ceilings. Being hollow and lightweight, it installs more easily than a real wooden log; it is fixed to the ceiling substructure with adhesive or screws. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister, or rot, and the wood texture can be emphasised by painting. As it is mould-cast, the wood surface pattern repeats identically on every piece.
