patterned moulding

A patterned moulding is a polyurethane profile with a repeating decorative pattern on its surface, used to create a frame or border on walls and ceilings. Indoors it is applied for wall division, panel borders and ceiling-edge detailing. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. Unlike wooden mouldings it keeps its shape in damp environments, and compared with plaster it is lighter and quicker to install. Because it is moulded, the surface pattern repeats identically in every piece. Polure produces the patterned moulding in a range of widths and patterns.
