Patterned Polyurethane Corner Trim for Wall Moldings

The P85008S decorative corner profile is engineered to bring a classic, structured elegance to wall framing projects. Acting as a focal transition element for wall paneling and boiserie layouts, this ornamental piece eliminates the need for complex miter cuts on linear trims. It seamlessly integrates into both traditional and transitional interior designs, instantly upgrading plain surfaces into architectural statements.

Measuring 270 mm in height and width with a depth of 34 mm, this corner trim is fabricated from high-density rigid PU (150-220 kg/m³). This advanced polymer provides a surface hardness equivalent to premium softwood while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Thanks to its closed-cell microstructure, the material absorbs virtually zero moisture, helping it resist swelling, rot, or warping, even when exposed to high humidity or outdoor elements.

The aesthetic charm of this model lies in its elaborate relief work. Featuring highly detailed, organic leaf scrolls and elegant symmetrical curves, it captures the essence of classic baroque and rococo craftsmanship. The deep-set carvings create dynamic highlights and shadows, adding a sense of luxury and structural depth to flat walls, ceilings, or decorative frame borders.

This versatile component is suitable for both residential and commercial applications. It serves beautifully in grand living rooms, master bedrooms, and boutique hotel lobbies. Because of its outstanding weather resistance, it can also be utilized on exterior facades to create decorative window frames or mock-panel accents, provided it is finished with a UV-resistant topcoat.

Installation is straightforward and clean. The lightweight parts are mounted using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with temporary mechanical screws to ensure a permanent bond. The trim arrives from the factory with a protective pre-applied primer. While this surface is prepared for painting, applying an additional primer is optional and remains at the discretion of the customer, as paint manufacturers often require specific base coats to validate their product warranties.

Unlike traditional plaster ornaments which are fragile and heavy, or cheap expanded polystyrene (EPS) alternatives that lack crisp detail and dent easily, this robust composite offers a long-term, impact-resistant solution. It can be easily sanded, filled, and coated with water-based or synthetic paints, ensuring a flawless finish that lasts for decades.
