Exterior facade trim is a decorative polyurethane profile applied around the windows and doors on the outside of a building, framing the openings. It outlines the edges of window and door gaps along the facade and adds visual depth to the surface. The polyurethane material is lightweight, so even on upper floors it is easily installed with mounting adhesive and, where needed, wall plugs. It resists outdoor weather, moisture and temperature swings; it does not crack, blister or swell, and it can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster or stone equivalents it adds far less weight and places no structural load on the wall. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section repeats identically on every piece, which makes joints align neatly at the corners.
