Exterior facade ornaments is the general term for the decorative polyurethane pieces used on the outer surface of buildings. Pieces such as trims, cornices, sills, columns and medallions are used on the facade around windows, at floor transitions, under eaves and at entrance areas. The polyurethane material is lightweight, applied to the facade with mounting adhesive and adds no structural load. It resists moisture, sun and temperature swings; it does not crack or blister and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being lighter than stone or concrete makes the work easier on upper floors. Because they are mould-cast, the dimensions and pattern of the same model repeat on every piece.
