It is manufactured from rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-200 kg/m³, giving it a solid, wood-like hardness. Unlike plaster, which is prone to chipping and cracking under physical stress, or timber, which suffers from moisture expansion, this material remains dimensionally stable under variable temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C.

The aesthetic appeal of the P2836 lies in its beautifully molded relief details. Symmetrical baroque scrollwork flows outward from a smooth, central oval medallion, creating a balanced focal point. The depth of the relief ensures that shadows catch perfectly under both natural and artificial lighting, highlighting the craftsmanship of the design. The surface is pre-treated with a factory-applied primer that prepares the product for final finishing. However, as paint manufacturers generally do not guarantee adhesion without their proprietary base coats, applying an additional primer is optional and remains at the discretion of the installer.
