polyurethane beam support

A polyurethane beam support is a corbel-look polyurethane element placed at the point where a decorative polyurethane beam meets the wall or ceiling, imitating a load-bearing support. It creates a visual impression of support at the end or underside of the beam, providing a cohesive look; it is decorative and carries no real load. It is used in living room and ceiling beam applications. The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. Being lighter than wood, it is easily positioned and is not affected by moisture. Because it is cast in a mould, the surface texture and section repeat identically across every piece. Polure produces polyurethane beam supports in sizes compatible with the beam profiles.
