Polyurethane Fireplace

A polyurethane fireplace is a decorative fireplace surround and mantel produced from polyurethane. Instead of a real flame, it is applied to the wall in living rooms and lounges with an electric or bioethanol unit or purely for decoration. Polyurethane is light and is fixed to the wall with mounting adhesive or screws; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and can be painted. Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. The surface can be painted with a marble, wood or solid-colour effect. Because the surround and ornament details are mould-cast, they repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces the fireplace in a range of sizes and styles.
