Polure facade ornamentation refers to the whole range of polyurethane decorative elements used on a building's exterior facade. It covers elements such as window and door surrounds, cornices, arches, columns, sills and facade borders. Concrete and stone facade ornaments are heavy and require structural extras and wet work, whereas polyurethane facade elements are light and applied directly to the exterior wall with construction adhesive. They are produced in a density that resists moisture, sunlight and impact for outdoor use; they do not crack, do not blister and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Because they are mould-produced, the profiles repeat identically along the facade and provide a neat alignment.
