Fireplace ornamentation is the general name for the process of enriching a fireplace unit with polyurethane profiles, motifs and ornament elements. It is applied to give a classic or plain character to a decorative fireplace in living and sitting rooms. The polyurethane elements used are lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or warp and can be painted. Because they are mould-cast, the ornament details repeat identically on every piece and the complementary pieces form a symmetrical whole.
