ceiling decoration panel

A ceiling decoration panel is a polyurethane decorative board with a relief pattern, applied to the ceiling surface. It is used on living room, hallway and reception ceilings to add pattern to a plain ceiling and create a repeating surface texture over large areas. The polyurethane panel is lightweight; it is fixed directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive and needs no supporting frame. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster panel, it is easier to handle in overhead ceiling work, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-produced, the pattern comes out the same on every panel, and panels are placed side by side to form a continuous surface.
