Polyurethane Ornament on a Round Column: Flexible Casting

This video shows why a rigid ornament cannot sit on a round column and how the same model in a flexible casting solves it. A member of our team first holds the white rigid piece against the column shaft, where the scrolled arms stay clear of the curve, then bends the ivory flexible casting so the central leaf motif and both acanthus scrolls follow the rounded profile. Filmed in the Polure showroom among polyurethane ornaments, rosettes, medallions and a column with an Ionic capital.
