Do not use silicone adhesives, as they do not provide the necessary structural bond or paint compatibility. Because polymer columns are decorative and not intended to carry load-bearing weight, mechanical fixing is mandatory to ensure permanent safety. Secure the components using non-corrosive screws at structural points. Once the adhesive has cured, fill all screw holes and joints with a premium, shrink-resistant joint putty.
