twisted pillar

A twisted pillar is a polyurethane decorative pillar whose shaft is worked with spiral (helical) lines. It is used in areas such as living rooms, entrances, stair landings and exterior facades to give a classical architectural effect. The polyurethane material is light and fixes to the surface with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted any colour. Being far lighter than its stone and plaster counterpart, it adds no load to the floor or wall and one team can install it quickly. As the spiral shaft is mould-produced, the twist lines stay even and identical on every piece. With capital and base parts it forms a complete pillar. Polure produces the twisted pillar in a range of diameters and heights.
