decorative door surround

A decorative door surround is a polyurethane profile set that wraps both sides and the top of the door opening, framing the door. It is used on interior and exterior doors to emphasise the opening and create a classic frame, and usually consists of side jambs and a top crown piece. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone and timber equivalents, it installs quickly and is unaffected by moisture on facades. Because it is mould-cast, the surround profile repeats identically on every piece.
