A decorative beam strut is a polyurethane element placed between a beam and a wall or column, giving the appearance of an angled support. It imitates the look of struts used in traditional timber roof and ceiling structures; it is applied beneath beam ends for ornament and visual support. The polyurethane material is light and is fixed with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted.
