A decorative corner profile is a polyurethane profile element used at wall corners or surface corners that protects the corner while adding ornamentation. It is used at external corners, column and pilaster corners, and wall returns to finish the corner neatly and durably. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Because it protects the surface at impact-prone corners, it is preferred at frequently touched points. Cast in a mould, the profile repeats identically on every piece.
