Decorative surround types cover the full group of polyurethane surround options produced in different profiles, widths and relief patterns to frame door and window edges. Plain, arched, embossed and wide-profile models are chosen to suit different architectural styles on building facades and in interiors. The polyurethane is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and is paintable. On the facade it does not absorb water and, being lighter than plaster or stone equivalents, it installs quickly. Because every type is mould-cast, the profile cross-sections stay the same along each metre. Polure produces decorative surround types in a range of sizes and models.
