Decorative surround models cover the full range of polyurethane surround designs produced in different profiles, reliefs and widths to frame doors and windows. Plain, stepped, embossed and wide-profile models are chosen according to the facade style and the opening size. The polyurethane is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and is paintable. On the facade it does not absorb water and, being lighter than plaster or stone equivalents, it installs quickly. Because every model is mould-cast, the profile cross-section stays the same along each metre. Polure produces decorative surround models in a range of sizes and profiles.
