Exterior Facade Column Capital

An exterior facade capital is a polyurethane decorative element placed at the top of a column or pilaster on a building facade that emphasises the transition. It is usually ornamented in form and used as a connecting piece between the column shaft and the eaves or cornice. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with facade adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and UV exposure, does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with stone and cast equivalents it adds no load and makes installation easier at high points. Polure produces exterior facade capitals in different column diameters and model options using moulds, so the capital details repeat identically on every piece.
