Polyurethane Decorative Pilaster Column Capital Model

The P5020M flat pilaster element serves as a premium architectural component designed to crown or support vertical wall accents. Engineered for both interior and exterior wall paneling systems, this flat column section acts as a capital or a transitional block, bringing classical symmetry and depth to flat wall surfaces without the weight of traditional stone.

Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this element offers the structural solidity of hardwood without its susceptibility to rot, warping, or insect damage. Measuring 74 mm in depth, 259 mm in width, and 310 mm in height, its compact yet prominent profile is lightweight and easy to handle during installation. With a water absorption rate below 1% and dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, it remains dimensionally stable under varying climatic conditions, avoiding cracking or shrinking over time.

Visually, the P5020M features a distinct neo-classical crown molding profile at the top, transitioning into a clean, flat central surface, and finishing with a subtle torus-style base molding. This tiered architectural geometry creates sharp shadow lines and a structured, sophisticated appearance on any flat surface. The factory-applied primer coat provides a smooth, uniform finish, preparing the piece for custom paint applications to match your specific design palette.

This decorative pilaster component is highly versatile in its application. It is ideal for framing grand doorways, highlighting fireplace surrounds, or segmenting expansive wall panels in luxury residential salons, hotel lobbies, and boutique retail spaces. When painted with UV-resistant coatings, it serves as an excellent exterior architectural accent for villa facades, porticos, entrance pillars, and window surrounds.

Installation is straightforward compared to heavy plaster or stone alternatives. Secure the piece using polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screws for permanent stability. After filling joints and screw holes with exterior-grade acrylic filler and sanding with 180-220 grit sandpaper, an optional secondary primer can be applied before finishing with two coats of water-based or synthetic paint. Unlike fragile gypsum or moisture-sensitive MDF, this durable block delivers long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.
