Polyurethane Pilaster Capital Model for Wall Columns

The P5014E pilaster capital serves as a premium architectural topping designed to complete flat decorative wall columns. By crowning a pilaster shaft, this structural element introduces classical Greek and Roman symmetry into modern interiors and exterior facades. It acts as a visual anchor, drawing the eye upward and defining the vertical limits of wall decorations with sophisticated architectural proportions.

Engineered from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this capital offers the physical strength of hardwood while remaining remarkably light. Measuring 45 mm in depth, 198 mm in width, and 167 mm in height, it is ideally proportioned for medium-sized pilaster installations. Its closed-cell molecular structure guarantees a water absorption rate of under one percent, preventing rot, swelling, or warping even in highly humid environments or direct outdoor exposure.

Visually, the P5014E displays a rich composition of classical motifs. The design features symmetrical side volutes (scrolls) flanking a central floral rosette, supported by detailed acanthus leaf carvings at the base. Thanks to advanced precision injection molding, every leaf vein, curve, and relief line is rendered with sharp definition, creating deep shadows that enhance the three-dimensional presence of the column cap.

This decorative capital is highly versatile, finding its place in luxury residential and commercial projects alike. Indoors, it is used to frame grand entrance doors, elevate fireplace mantels, or ornament pilasters in hotel lobbies, restaurants, and spacious living rooms. For outdoor applications, it brings classical prestige to villa entrances, window surrounds, and corporate building facades when coated with UV-stable exterior paints.

Installing the capital is straightforward and efficient. Secure the piece using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screws for a permanent hold. While the product arrives with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface, applying an extra primer coat is optional and depends on the specific warranty guidelines of your chosen paint manufacturer. Finish the installation by filling screw holes, sanding lightly, and applying two coats of water-based or synthetic paint.
