Exterior Facade Capital

Exterior facade capital refers to the polyurethane capital elements used at the top of columns and pilasters on a building exterior. It completes the transition between the column shaft and the eaves or cornice and gives the facade a classic accent. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with facade adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and UV exposure, does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with stone and cast equivalents it adds no load and makes installation easier at high facade points. Polure produces exterior facade capital types in different column diameters and model options using moulds, so the ornamental details of each capital repeat identically.
