Plain Column

A plain column is a polyurethane decorative column with a smooth, ungrooved body. It is used indoors and outdoors to clad load-bearing columns or to create a vertical accent as a free-standing decorative element. It is usually applied together with shaft, capital and base pieces. The polyurethane material is light and is fixed with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. Being much lighter than a stone or plaster column makes it easy to handle and install. The smooth surface provides a suitable base for paint. Polure produces plain column by casting in different diameter and height options; the body section is the same on every piece.
