arched window casing

An arched window casing is a single polyurethane frame profile applied to the edge of a window with a curved top edge. It is used to highlight the window opening on the facade; it is produced to suit the radius of the window and joins with straight casing pieces to surround the window. It is preferred on classic and traditional facades. The polyurethane material is light, and because the arch form is mould-produced it runs evenly along the curve; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. It is fixed with adhesive and dowels, lighter and faster to apply than stone or wood. Polure produces arched window casings in different radius and width options.
