classic batten ornamentation
Classic batten ornamentation is the process of dressing wall and ceiling surfaces with slim-profiled battens. To create panel frames on walls and rose-and-coffer divisions on ceilings, the battens are applied side by side in a panelled, right-angled layout. Polyurethane batten ornamentation is lightweight; it adds no extra load to the surface and is fixed directly to the wall or ceiling with construction adhesive. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel and can be painted. Compared with timber alternatives, it does not absorb moisture or swell and installs quickly. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section continues identically on every piece. For classic batten ornamentation, Polure produces battens in a range of widths and profiles.
