classic spiral column

A classic spiral column is the polyurethane decorative version of a classical column whose shaft is twisted into a spiral, with helical fluting. With its twisted appearance it is used as a vertical decorative element in entrance, living room and façade accents. It can be applied as a full column or a wall-mounted half column. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone and wood alternatives, despite the complex twisted form it is easy to transport and installs quickly. Because it is cast from a mould, the spiral fluting detail comes out the same on every piece. Polure produces the classic spiral column in a range of sizes.
