A classic wall panel is a polyurethane wall panel produced in a classical architectural style that frames and divides the wall surface. It is used as wainscoting or framed panelling on living room, hall and stairway walls, giving depth to a flat wall. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Unlike wood panelling, it is unaffected by moisture and can therefore also be used in wet and damp areas. Because it is moulded, the edge profiles and detailing repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces classic wall panels in a range of sizes and profile options, with surfaces suitable for paint.
