classic ceiling moulding

A classic ceiling moulding is the slim, classically profiled polyurethane strip applied to the ceiling surface or to the ceiling-wall junction. It is used to create panel and coffer sections on the ceiling and to frame edges; with its slim profile it adds a light relief to the surface. It is applied indoors as a decorative separating element in ceiling arrangements. The polyurethane material is light and adheres directly to the ceiling with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster or wood, long pieces can be applied by one person. Because it is mould-cast, the profile remains the same throughout the section. Polure produces the classic ceiling moulding in different width and length options.
