Modern Classic Architecture

Modern classic architecture is a design approach that combines the proportion and ornamentation principles of classical architecture with plain lines and current materials. Classic elements such as columns, pilasters, cornices and architraves are preserved, but the details are simplified to suit modern building facades and interiors. It is used in both exterior and interior applications on residential, hotel and shop facades. In producing these elements, the polyurethane material is light and is applied with assembly adhesive or suitable fixings; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel and can be painted. Being lighter than its stone or plaster equivalent reduces the facade load and speeds up installation.
