window surround arch

A window surround arch is a polyurethane element at the top of a window surround that crowns the opening with a curved or straight line. On classical facades it is applied above the window and, together with the side surround profiles, completes the frame. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Being far lighter than a stone arch, it is easy to install at high points on the facade and is not eroded by rain. Because it is mould-cast, the arch profile is identical on every piece. Polure produces window surround arches in a range of sizes and models.
