Polyurethane Round Curved Arch Frame Profile for Doorways

The P1472D400VI is a high-density polyurethane round curved arch profile designed to frame large architectural openings with exceptional structural definition. Whether utilized to crown expansive windows, accent grand entrance portals, or create clean passage transitions between rooms, this semi-circular architectural element softens sharp angular layouts. It serves as an impactful focal point that elevates both interior spaces and exterior building facades into highly refined classical or transitional architectural compositions.

Engineered for monumental installations, this arch features a substantial width of 193 mm, a curved span length of 4605 mm, and a rise height of 2302 mm. Manufactured from rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, the component mirrors the physical hardness of natural wood while remaining remarkably lightweight, preventing structural overloading. Its closed-cell composition ensures water absorption remains under 1%, making the arch highly resistant to rot, swelling, or warping, with dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C.

Visually, the profile showcases a clean, multi-layered stepped design. This stepped geometric relief creates subtle shadow lines along the curve, emphasizing the perfect semi-circular geometry. The smooth, factory-applied primer coat provides an even surface that highlights the precision-molded details, ensuring that the finished installation looks flawless from every angle when lit by natural or artificial light sources.

This versatile architectural framing is ideal for high-end residential and commercial projects. Apply it to define grand villa portals, frame arched exterior windows, or outline luxurious hallway transitions in boutique hotels and spacious restaurants. Because it withstands moisture, it is also highly suitable for covered patios, veranda openings, and spa transitions where traditional plaster or MDF would quickly deteriorate.

Compared to heavy cast concrete or gypsum, this lightweight polyurethane alternative reduces labor costs and installation risks. Mounting is completed securely using polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with temporary mechanical screws for safety. The factory primer prepares the surface for finishing; however, while direct painting is possible, applying an additional specialized primer prior to your final paint coats is optional and highly recommended to meet specific paint manufacturer warranty requirements. A UV-resistant topcoat is mandatory for all outdoor applications to prevent discoloration.
