Pilaster Column Capital

A pilaster column capital is the polyurethane head piece that sits on the upper part of a pilaster column, finishing the body against the ceiling or cornice line. On interior and exterior facade walls it is applied over the pilaster column body with mounting adhesive and completes the classical architectural detailing. The polyurethane material is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than its plaster or timber equivalent eases the work at high mounting points. Because it is mould-cast, the relief details repeat identically on every piece.
