A polyurethane beam brace is a polyurethane corbel element added to the end or underside of a decorative polyurethane beam, giving the look of an angled support. It imitates the classic brace detail that connects a beam to a wall or column, providing visual cohesion; it is decorative and carries no real load. It is used in living room and ceiling beam applications. The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. Being lighter than wood, it is easily positioned and is not affected by moisture. Because it is cast in a mould, the surface texture and section repeat identically across every piece.
