polyurethane fluted column
The Polure fluted column is a polyurethane decorative column with vertical grooves (flutes) along its shaft. The flutes add a rhythmic movement to the column surface and create the fluting detail often used in classical architecture; it is used as a decorative column indoors and on exterior facades. The polyurethane material is lightweight, applied as cladding over an existing column or on its own with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted; being much lighter than its stone equivalent it is easy to carry and quick to install. Since it is mould-produced, the flute spacing and depth are exactly identical on every piece. Polure produces the fluted column in different diameter, height and capital options.
