The P5940B polymer architectural component serves as a robust, decorative foundation designed to transition columns smoothly to the floor level. This circular pedestal base adds visual weight and classical proportions to both structural and ornamental column assemblies. Manufactured from high-density rigid foam with a density of 150-200 kg/m³, this 512x512x227 mm base offers the structural hardness of wood without the susceptibility to rot, moisture, or insect damage. It maintains dimensional stability across a wide temperature spectrum from -20°C to +80°C, ensuring no warping or cracking over time. Compared to heavy cast concrete or fragile plaster, this lightweight alternative reduces structural loads and simplifies handling on site.

The design features a traditional Attic base profile, characterized by two prominent convex torus moldings separated by a concave scotia groove. This profile creates a beautiful play of light and shadow, highlighting the circular geometry of the column. The smooth, pre-primed factory finish provides an excellent substrate for final painting, allowing seamless integration with the main column shaft.

This versatile base is ideal for a variety of grand settings, including luxury villa entrances, hotel lobbies, wedding halls, and covered verandas. It can be utilized to clad existing load-bearing concrete pillars or combined with decorative shafts to create freestanding ornamental columns in garden landscapes and interior foyers.

For secure installation, the base must be attached to a clean, dry surface using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive, accompanied by mechanical screws for permanent stability. The factory-applied primer prepares the surface for painting; however, because paint manufacturers typically require their own primers to validate warranties, applying an additional primer is optional and remains at the buyer's discretion. For exterior applications, finishing with a UV-resistant paint is mandatory to prevent discoloration.
