An exterior facade decorative profile is a polyurethane decorative beading with a defined cross-section applied to the outer surface of a building. It is used on the facade as a horizontal floor band, around windows or as a panel edge, forming clean lines on the surface. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly to the facade with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture, sun and temperature swings; it does not crack or blister and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Unlike a wooden profile it is not affected by moisture and does not rot; compared with plaster it is lighter. Because it is mould-cast, the cross-section is the same on every piece, which makes joints align easily over long runs.
