ionic column capital

The ionic column capital is a polyurethane capital element with volutes curling on either side, forming the upper part of Ionic order columns. It is placed on top of column and pilaster shafts to complete the capital section of the column; it is used on decorative columns indoors and outdoors. Polyurethane is lightweight; it is applied with mounting adhesive, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being lighter than stone and concrete, it is easy to handle and install. Because it is mould-cast, the volute details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces the ionic column capital in sizes suitable for different column diameters.
