Beam Support Element

A beam support element is a polyurethane decorative piece placed beneath or at the ends of decorative beams, giving the appearance of supporting the beam. In classical and rustic interiors it is used to emphasise beam ends and the beam-wall junction and to create a visual load-bearing effect. It can be in a console or bracket form. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied to the surface with mounting adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and is paintable. Being lighter than its wooden equivalent, installation is fast and no additional load-bearing support is required. Being mould-cast, the support profile repeats identically on every piece.
