The P1981GK2 is a high-performance polyurethane corbel designed to replicate the deep texture and structural character of aged timber. Serving as an architectural support bracket, this element is engineered to complement faux wood beams, ceilings, and rustic structural transitions. It offers a premium finish for high-end residential and commercial interiors seeking a farmhouse, chalet, or historic aesthetic without the structural weight and cost of solid oak or pine logs.

Crafted from rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, this corbel provides wood-like surface hardness while remaining remarkably lightweight. With dimensions of 263 mm in width, 272 mm in projection, and a height of 545 mm, it is perfectly proportioned for medium-to-large scale architectural designs. The closed-cell structure ensures a water absorption rate under 1%, making it highly resistant to rot, swelling, and insect infestation. It remains dimensionally stable across a wide temperature range from -20 °C / +70 °C.

Visually, the P1981GK2 showcases exceptional fidelity to natural wood, featuring realistic growth rings on the curved end-grain face, deep longitudinal cracks, and a rugged bark-like texture. The product is delivered with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface for paint. While this factory coating facilitates paint adhesion, paint manufacturers often require their proprietary primers to guarantee their coatings; therefore, an additional primer layer is optional and remains at the buyer's discretion. It has fire class B2 (DIN 4102-1).

Installation is straightforward and far less labor-intensive than handling traditional plaster or heavy timber. The corbel is mounted using polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screws for permanent stability. Once fixed, joint lines and screw heads can be filled with standard putty, sanded with 180-220 grit sandpaper, and coated with either water-based or synthetic paints to achieve a perfect, long-lasting wood-grain finish.
