modern slat
A modern slat is a plain, flat-profiled polyurethane decorative slat element applied to wall and ceiling surfaces. By forming linear lines on the surface, it provides a panelled effect, division and transition finishes. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. It is lighter and faster to mount than a wood slat and is unaffected by moisture; it is also more break-resistant than plaster. Because it is mould-cast, the slat profile is identical on every piece. Polure produces modern slats in a range of widths, thicknesses and profile options.
