Polyurethane Exterior Facade Column
A polyurethane exterior facade column is a decorative column used to clad load-bearing columns or to add ornamentation to the outside of a building. It is applied as a vertical accent at entrance canopies, beneath balconies and in facade niches. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and sunlight, does not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Because it is far lighter than a concrete or stone column, it adds no extra load to the facade and installs quickly. As it is cast in a mould, the fluting and capital details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces exterior facade columns in a range of diameters and heights.
