Polyurethane Pilaster Columns
Polyurethane pilaster columns are polyurethane shaft, capital and base sets applied half-embedded into the wall to give a column appearance. They are used to create a vertical accent on facades and interior walls, usually in rows beside doors and windows. Unlike a full column, they sit against the wall and take up less space. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly to the wall with construction adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being lighter than its stone or plaster equivalents makes carrying and installation easier and speeds up the work. Since the sets are mould-produced, the fluting and section dimensions are identical on every piece. Polure produces pilaster columns in different size and order options.
