Decorative Facade Elements

Decorative facade elements is the collective name for polyurethane parts such as mouldings, cornices, arches, pilasters, columns, pediments and panels used on a building's outer surface. They are applied around windows and doors, at floor transitions and facade corners to create architectural lines and shadow detail. Polyurethane is lightweight; it is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and dowels and adds no extra load to the structure. It resists moisture, rain and temperature differences, does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with stone and plaster equivalents it installs faster with a low risk of breakage in transport. Polure produces facade elements in matching profiles and sizes.
