Polyurethane Curved Arch and Keystone Frame Decoration

The P1456D115VIC is a premium decorative curved arch designed to frame arched doorways, windows, or wall transitions with a clean, classical touch. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane, this architectural element introduces depth and structured elegance to both interior hallways and exterior facades, serving as a durable alternative to heavy stone or easily damaged plaster moldings.

Measuring 221 mm in depth, 1550 mm in width, and 871 mm in height, this semi-circular arch is engineered for structural stability. With a density of 150-220 kg/m³, the material mimics the hardness of wood while remaining lightweight and highly resistant to warping, shrinking, or cracking. Its closed-cell structure provides low water absorption (below 1%), ensuring the arch remains highly resistant to rot, mildew, while dimensional stability has been tested between -20 °C and +70 °C.

Visually, the arch features a smooth, stepped profile that curves seamlessly, culminating in an ornamental keystone at the center top. This keystone is adorned with a detailed classical acanthus leaf motif, adding a focal point of historical sophistication. The clean lines and flawless symmetry of the molding profile create an elegant transition that enhances the architectural character of any building.

This versatile curved molding is ideal for framing grand entrance doors, arched windows on villa facades, or creating transition portals between large living rooms and hallways. In commercial settings, such as luxury hotel lobbies, restaurants, or boutique offices, it serves as a premium design feature over reception areas or decorative wall niches.

Installation is straightforward compared to traditional plaster or stone. The lightweight arch is secured using polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screw fastening for safety. While the factory-applied primer prepares the surface for paint, we recommend applying an optional premium primer according to your paint manufacturer's guidelines to ensure long-term paint adhesion. For exterior applications, a UV-resistant topcoat is mandatory to protect the material from sunlight.

Offering the ornate detail of hand-carved stone without the structural load or maintenance hassle, this polyurethane arch is an investment in longevity. It can be easily sanded, patched, and repainted over time, ensuring your architectural facades and interiors maintain their pristine appearance for decades.
