Polyurethane Curved Arch Frame Model

The P1462D285VO is an architectural curved arch moulding designed to bring a sophisticated, classical aesthetic to window and door surrounds. This high-density profile serves as the perfect crowning element for arched openings, transforming standard facades and interior transitions into refined focal points. Engineered to match corresponding straight trim profiles, it allows for seamless integration into comprehensive architectural framing systems.

Manufactured from rigid, high-density polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this product offers a wood-like hardness while remaining exceptionally lightweight. With physical dimensions of 184 mm in width, 1426 mm in length, and a height of 546 mm, its substantial 18.4 cm profile depth provides a striking three-dimensional shadow line. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, the material has a water absorption rate of less than one percent, ensuring it is highly resistant to moisture, rot, and insects.

Visually, the P1462D285VO features a smooth, elegantly stepped profile with distinct linear detailing that captures light beautifully. The precision of the molding process ensures flawless geometric symmetry and crisp lines that are difficult to achieve with traditional hand-run plaster. This clean, structured design is highly versatile, making it equally suited for traditional, neoclassical, and transitional architectural styles.

This decorative arch is highly adaptable for both indoor and outdoor projects. In exterior applications, it is commonly used to frame arched windows, porticos, and grand entrance doors on premium residential villas and commercial facades. Internally, it creates elegant, doorless transitions between formal rooms, hallway alcoves, or decorative wall niches in luxury hotels, restaurants, and private estates.

Installation is straightforward and highly efficient compared to heavy plaster or timber alternatives. The lightweight nature of the profile reduces labor costs and structural loading. To ensure a permanent bond, the use of a high-quality polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive is required, complemented by mandatory mechanical fastening with screws. Once secured, the joints can be easily filled, sanded, and painted to achieve a flawless, monolithic appearance.

The product is supplied with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface for finishing. However, as paint manufacturers do not guarantee adhesion without their own system, the application of an additional primer is optional and at the discretion of the installer. For outdoor installations, a high-quality, UV-resistant exterior paint must be applied to protect the material from sun exposure and prevent discoloration over time.
