Polyurethane Curved Arch Frame and Keystone Decoration

The P1456D44VID semi-circular arch frame with a prominent central keystone is designed to introduce structured, classical geometry to modern architectural facades and interior transitions. Featuring a clean, stepped radial profile, this decorative component provides an immediate visual anchor above doorways, windows, and open passages. Unlike fragile gypsum moldings, its crisp, multi-layered lines remain perfectly defined over time, adding depth and architectural character to any surface.

Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this structural arch ornament offers the durability and hardness of wood without the susceptibility to moisture. With physical dimensions of 170 mm in depth, 840 mm in span, and a 420 mm height rise, it is perfectly proportioned for standard residential and commercial headers. The closed-cell material features an exceptionally low water absorption rate of under 1%, ensuring it will not warp, swell, or rot when exposed to humidity or direct rain.

The design features a smooth, flat-surfaced curve that transitions seamlessly into a bold, trapezoidal keystone at the apex. This minimalist yet traditional detailing allows the arch to harmonize with classical Roman, neo-classical, or clean contemporary architectural styles. Its lightweight nature significantly reduces structural load compared to heavy pre-cast concrete or stone arches, while offering superior impact resistance compared to EPS foam alternatives.

This versatile arch is highly rated for both internal and external environments. In luxury residential projects, it serves as an elegant crown for exterior windows or main entryways, establishing a premium facade character. Internally, it can be utilized to define open-plan transitions between hallways, dining rooms, or executive offices, creating a sense of grand passage without blocking natural light or airflow.

Installing the arch requires applying polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive to the rear contact surfaces, supplemented by mandatory mechanical screw fastening to guarantee long-term stability. While the factory-applied primer coat thoroughly prepares the surface for painting, paint manufacturers typically recommend applying their own specialized primer to maintain warranty coverage; thus, an additional primer coat is optional. For all outdoor installations, finishing with a high-quality UV-resistant paint is mandatory to prevent surface discoloration over time.
