A decorative architectural column is a polyurethane column element that divides a space vertically or decorates a facade. It is used in living room, entrance and facade designs to give a classical architectural look, emphasise transitions and create a vertical accent. The polyurethane column consists of shaft, capital and base parts; it is lightweight and is applied in place with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being far lighter than a marble or stone column, it is easy to install in non-load-bearing decorative applications.
